Davanti a un gran bosco

Giorgia Mascitti

curated by Miriam di Francesco

08.11.25 - 12.01.26

Davanti a un gran bosco (Near a great forest) is Giorgia Mascitti's solo show, a visual journey which explores the educational power of dreams and imagination, play and fairy tales. The project is part of the program of “Rigenerarsi” promoted by the Municipality of Narni.

The exhibition, curated by Miriam Di Francesco, draws inspiration from Tim Burton's film adaptation of the fairy tale by the Grimm Brothers, Hänsel & Gretel.

The idea that childhood is a place of coexistence between good and evil, full of those monsters that haunt us since we were children and that do not stop influencing us by symbolically representing our inner world in which we grow up and to which we return in times of crisis.
