Founded in 2023 by Lorenzo Rubini, art dealer and curator, THEPÒSITO Art Space is a contemporary art gallery specialized in the promotion of emerging and mid-career artists in a space between digital and physical with a deep curatorial approach. The gallery aims to maintain a multidisciplinary and diversified program driven by the exhibitions set up in its space rooted in Central Italy along with site-specific curatorial projects. THEPÒSITO’s artistic research also focuses on the cultural development of the Umbrian territory through a fresh and regenerative contemporary programming.
Lorenzo Rubini graduated in History of Art with a MD in Contemporary Art Studies and a Master in Curatorship. He focuses his research on the trends of Chinese Contemporary Art which he strengthens during a biennial experience in Shanghai, during this period he tightens relations with cultural institutions and galleries of the asian metropolis. Since 2016 he’s been gallery liaison for the influential Lia Rumma Gallery in Milan, taking part personally at international art fairs such as Art Basel, The Armory Show, Frieze, Miart, Artissima; he refines his skills related to the art market alongside expert art dealers and artists among the most influential of the contemporary scene. In 2019 he starts a collaboration with ADA, art advisor platform based in Frosinone.
